Silence & Sound Retreat - Italy
21 - 26 September
- Immersion in sound and meditation -
Why Silence and Sound?
Silence and sound—two apparent opposites—are explored as complementary gateways to your true nature. Through their interplay, obstructions can dissolve and a deeper connection with your true Self can emerge.
Rooted in the ancient tradition of Nada Yoga—the yoga of sound—the practices of this retreat support liberation on physical, energetic, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels. The retreat offers both expressive and receptive approaches: opening the voice while deepening the capacity to truly listen.
Sound practices can both reveal inner silence and support its integration into daily life—into how you move, speak, and relate.

What does silence imply here?
In this retreat there will be 1 full day of silence (mauna). This will be the central day. During the other days silence (mauna) is kept during the mornings and evenings only. Mauna includes refraining from any external communication, including talking, emails, phone calls, etc. In the temple room mauna will be maintained throughout the whole retreat.
This is a phone-free retreat. Your phone will be handed in on the first evening. The attention can be fully ‘here’ and inside. An attitude of silence is a requisite for a deepened meditation practice and the profound healing or liberation that may take place.
