An Immersive Nāda Yoga Training

Nāda Yoga is one of the oldest ancient paths that explores sound and the nature of consciousness. Rooted in the ancient yogic and tantric traditions of India, it explores sound not merely as an acoustic phenomenon, but as a doorway to inner transformation and an awakened consciousness.

The Path of Sound offers a profound yet accessible approach to this tradition, bringing its essential knowledge and practice into a universal and contemporary framework. Through vocal liberation, devotional singing, meditation and mantra, you will explore sound as a sādhana - spiritual practice - and discover how the voice itself can become an instrument for healing, presence and awareness.

This training is open to anyone drawn to the transformative power of sound, whether you are beginning your journey or already work professionally with yoga, music, voice, meditation or sound healing.

Over the course of the training, you will be invited not simply to learn about Nāda Yoga, but to experience, embody and deepen the path of sound for yourself.

Why this training?

Some things cannot be learned through books, videos or personal practices.

The Path of Sound offers an experiential deep-dive into the transformative power of sound, giving you the time, guidance and space to truly explore what these practices can open. Rather than offering a collection of techniques or a short-term introduction, the training follows a long-term process of practice, integration and transformation. You will be guided both online and in person, individually and through group sessions, allowing the practices to gradually become part of your own experience.

The training unfolds in three stages. The first two modules are dedicated primarily to your own inner development — first exploring transformation, and then learning to embody the practices more deeply in your life. The third module turns towards facilitation, offering the knowledge, experience and practical skills to share these practices with others.

In this way, the training moves from experiencing, to embodying, to sharing. It is a journey of developing not only an understanding of Nāda Yoga, but a lived relationship with sound as a transformative path.

Sangha

The sangha  - community - is an essential part of the Path of Sound. While much of the inner work is deeply personal, walking the path together is empowering and at some point even essential for our personal development. We practice, listen, explore and grow alongside others who share a genuine interest in the spiritual path and the power of sound.

A central part of the training is practicing together. When voices, breath and embodied attention are merged, the unique resonance of a group appears. This shared experience can deepen the practices in ways that are difficult to discover when practicing alone at home.

Over time, these shared experiences create a field of trust, connection and mutual support — a sangha that accompanies you throughout the journey.

What students say...

"With gratitude, I look back on the sound training I followed with Surya. The program is clearly structured and follows a logical progression.

First, attention is given to working on ourselves — overcoming obstacles, developing virtues and skills. These are then placed in service of the greater good of others. The training is approached in a holistic way: we work together with nature and with the whole human being, helping to restore harmony with the healing forces that are already present within each of us.

Because the lessons are given in small groups, there is plenty of space for an individual approach right from the start. This makes the threshold for working with others, or for expressing oneself creatively and openly, very low. The process unfolds in small steps, with great care for creating and maintaining a safe environment.

The greatest source of inspiration is Indian philosophy and the path of yoga as service. That’s why mantra practice is an essential part of the training. The techniques and methods taught integrate well with skills or practices students may already have from previous trainings — whether musical abilities, working with other instruments, or other holistic therapies.

Perhaps the most important pillar of the training is spirituality. Here there are no hollow words or abstract philosophical debates. Both the work with sound is grounded in a deeply felt silence and serene peace. This emphasis, and the constant search for authentic presence, makes the program — though full and rich — deeply digestible and rewarding.

For anyone fascinated by sound and wishing to explore this medium in order to dive into the great questions of who we are, why we are here, and how we can help one another, this training will surely provide the tools and guidance you need."
